As part of efforts to strengthen a culture of dialogue and promote collective responsibility, Professor Djeddi Chawki, Director of the National Institute for Research in Education, took part in the proceedings of the Trade Union General Assembly organized by the Institute’s trade union bureau. The meeting was attended by Mr. Sadek Dziri, President of the National Union of Education and Training Workers, along with several researchers and staff members.
In his address, the Director commended the spirit of discipline and responsibility that characterized the gathering, praising the constructive role played by the trade union in guiding employees and defending their rights – a role that contributes to professional stability and fosters a positive working environment within the institution.
He also reaffirmed the Institute’s management’s commitment to maintaining and strengthening channels of communication and cooperation with its social partners, within a framework of mutual respect, in the service of scientific and educational research and in the interest of the nation and the education sector as a whole.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director expressed his best wishes for the success of the General Assembly’s proceedings, hoping that the election of delegates would take place in an atmosphere of awareness and responsibility.
