School Counselling in the face of Educational, Psychological and Social Challenges
Professor Chawki Djeddi, Director of the National Institute for Research in Education,
presided over the opening session of the round table entitled “School Counselling in the Face
of Educational, Psychological and Social Challenges” on Monday, 27 April 2026. This event
forms part of efforts aimed at strengthening the comprehensive support provided to students
within the school environment.
This scientific gathering provided an opportunity to propose an integrated approach to school
counselling by highlighting its vital role in supporting students psychologically, educationally
and socially, while helping them develop personal balance and make informed academic and
career choices.
