A collaborative working environment and scientific research adapted to success

Training Workshop

As part of efforts to strengthen researchers’ capacities and enhance their academic presence on international scientific platforms, the National Institute for Research in Education organized a training workshop on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, for its researchers, entitled: “Enhancing the Digital Identity of Researchers on International Academic Platforms.”

The workshop, held in the lecture hall under the supervision of the Department of Scientific Production in Education and Documentary Resources, was facilitated by Dr. Abdelmalek Metrouh.

The event opened with a welcoming address by the Institute’s Director, Professor Djeddi Chawki, who greeted the participants and emphasized the importance of the workshop in strengthening their research profiles, as it enables them to improve their academic visibility and rankings. He also highlighted its scientific relevance.

This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Metrouh, who expressed his gratitude to the Institute for the invitation and provided a detailed theoretical explanation supported by practical demonstrations.

The workshop addressed several key topics, including:

  • Creating and activating researcher accounts on Google Scholar and ResearchGate;
  • Using these platforms to document scientific output and promote research publications;
  • Providing practical guidance to enhance academic visibility and engagement with scientific institutions;
  • Developing skills related to intellectual property protection and publication ethics;
  • The role of language in academic publishing.

The session concluded with an open discussion, marked by rich and constructive contributions that reflected the researchers’ keen interest in scientific publishing and digital presence on international platforms.

The workshop closed with the presentation of certificates of participation.
