Installation Meeting of the Accreditation Commission Members
Within the framework of strengthening the mechanisms for validating pedagogical tools and resources, and ensuring their quality and compliance with established educational standards, Professor Chawki Djeddi, Director of the National Institute for Research in Education, presided over a formal meeting for the installation of the Institute’s Accreditation Commission. The meeting took place on Monday, March 30, 2026, in the presence of the President of the National Council for Curricula, the President of the National Observatory for Education and Training, representatives of the National Office for School Publications, as well as officials of the Institute and Commission members.
The session began with a minute of silence in memory of the late former President of the Republic, Moudjahid Liamine Zéroual, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the performance of the national anthem.
In his address, the Director welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of establishing the Accreditation Commission and its central role in supporting the national education sector in achieving quality and accreditation standards. He also acknowledged the efforts of the outgoing members and extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed ones, stressing that strict confidentiality is a fundamental pillar for the Commission’s effective functioning, before formally installing the Commission.
The meeting addressed the following agenda items:
- Installation of the Commission
- Discussion and adoption of the Commission’s draft internal regulations
- Detailed presentation of the Commission’s missions and responsibilities
- Presentation of the general and specific terms of reference
In conclusion, the Director extended his best wishes to the Commission members in carrying out their duties, aiming to contribute to the enhancement of educational quality and the achievement of the established objectives.
