Training Course

Statistical Analysis Skills Using SPSS

The first day of the training course on statistical analysis skills using SPSS was held on May
3, 2026, in a distinguished scientific and well-organized setting. The opening session was
chaired by Professor Chawki Djeddi, Director of the National Institute for Research in
Education, who emphasized in his address the importance of developing statistical analysis
skills and their role in supporting scientific research.

This first day was focused on the theoretical foundations and preliminary concepts related to
statistical analysis, while also introducing participants to the SPSS environment, its interface,
and its main functions. The programme also included practical applications that enabled
participants to enter and process data and to become familiar with the main procedures of
descriptive statistics.

All activities took place in a positive interactive atmosphere, helping to strengthen
participants’ understanding and establish a methodological basis for the remaining
components of the training course.

Proceedings of the Second Day of the Training Session on Statistical Analysis Skills
Using SPSS
The proceedings of the second day of the training session on statistical analysis skills using
SPSS continued on 4 May 2026 in a productive academic atmosphere.
The focus was on enabling participants to develop a deeper understanding of statistical data
analysis methods and to select appropriate tests according to the nature of the data.
The sessions combined theoretical and practical components, enabling participants to acquire
practical skills in processing and interpreting data with scientific rigour.
The day was also marked by positive interaction, which helped strengthen participants’ ability
to apply statistical analysis tools in their research, thereby ensuring more accurate and
objective results.
