Under the chairmanship of Professor Chawki Djeddi, Director of the National Institute for
Research in Education, the appointment of the editors-in-chief of the Institute’s three
scientific journals took place on Sunday, 26 April 2026, in the presence of the heads of
research divisions, the heads of technical departments, the heads of administrative services, as
well as the Information and Communication Unit.
The following appointments were made:
Dr Bouzria Imane, appointed Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal
Didactique;
Dr Chergui Houria, appointed Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal
Educ-Recherche;
Dr Zergui Hamza, appointed Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal
Pedagogical Innovation.
On the same occasion, Dr Bachiri Ahlam was appointed to head a research team, as part of
efforts to strengthen scientific dynamism and reinforce the Institute’s research structures.
The Director also issued a number of directives aimed at raising the standard of the scientific
journals, stressing the importance of improving the quality of scholarly publishing. He
furthermore reaffirmed the support of the Institute’s administration, calling for stronger
coordination among the parties concerned and for united efforts to enhance performance and
achieve the desired objectives.
