Cooperation Agreement
Professor Chawki Djeddi, Director of the National Institute for Research in Education,
presided over the signing ceremony of a partnership and cooperation agreement between the
National Institute for Research in Education and the National Observatory for Education and
Training, represented by its Director, Professor Abdelkader Mezzi, on Monday, 4 May 2026,
as part of efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and support scientific research in the
field of education.
This agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to establishing an effective and
sustainable partnership that contributes to the development of the national education system
and promotes evidence-based decision-making grounded in rigorous scientific findings. It also
aims to define the general framework for cooperation and set out the mechanisms for its
implementation in areas of mutual interest, thereby strengthening the complementarity
between scientific research and educational monitoring, while contributing to the valorisation
and use of research outputs in support of educational policies and the improvement of quality
of performance across the sector.
