The study day organized by the National Institute for Research in Education began with the national anthem, followed by an opening address delivered by Professor Radia Bernaoui, the Institute’s Director. In her speech, she emphasized that innovation is not merely an option but an essential necessity for achieving sustainable development across all fields. She highlighted that this event reflects the Institute’s commitment to fostering a stimulating research environment aimed at developing innovative projects that address contemporary challenges.
After the opening address, the scientific sessions commenced under the chairmanship of Dr. Zine-Eddine Seffadj. These sessions featured rich presentations by experts and academics from various institutions, focusing on innovation and its management.
In the first session, Professor Djamila Halliche from the National Center for Scientific Research and Technologies explored the importance of integrating innovation and entrepreneurship. She underscored the role of digital transformation in enhancing innovation opportunities.
The second session was led by Dr. Bilal Yalaoui from the Research Center in Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST). He presented an in-depth vision on managing innovative projects in the education sector. His talk included practical strategies based on real-life examples from the Algerian context, stressing the need to adapt solutions to local needs.
The third session, presented by Dr. Samir Rouabhi, focused on the mechanisms of applying the Lean Startup methodology to scientific research and innovation. He outlined practical steps for project development, starting with conceptualizing innovative ideas, moving through the creation of prototypes, and concluding with impact assessment based on stakeholder feedback.
The final session was delivered by Mr. Rafik Chala, who provided an analytical approach to managing innovative projects. He highlighted the importance of flexibility and adaptability to emerging developments and emphasized the need for integrated teamwork among researchers and entrepreneurs to achieve tangible, measurable goals.
The event featured engaging discussions among participants, with questions centering on how to apply the proposed methodologies in the Algerian context and overcome challenges associated with implementing innovative projects. The discussions yielded several key recommendations, including enhancing collaboration between academic institutions and production sectors and incorporating innovation into educational curricula to prepare future generations with creative tools to face the challenges ahead.

Participants emphasized that investment in scientific research and innovative projects forms the cornerstone of genuine progress. They also stressed the importance of continuing such scientific events to create platforms for dialogue and exchange among various stakeholders in the field of innovation.
