The Minister of National Education Supervises the Works of a Team with Higher Education and Scientific Research Sector.
In response to the invitation of the minister of National Education Pr. Abdelhakim Belabed, the Director of the National Institute of Research on Education, Pr. Radia Bernaoui and permanent researchers has attended on Wednesday morning 20th, 2021 a work session at the ministry of National Education with the presence of the Secretary General and high responsible from the central administration and the General Director of scientific research and technological development Pr. Hafid Aoureg and high responsible and researchers of scientific research sector.
After a welcome word, the minister pointed out that this meeting is integrated into the framework of partnership between education sector and higher education and scientific research sector by virtue of an efficient coordination between education actors and taking all the responsibilities to find out solutions in terms of pedagogy and education in order to promote the sector in terms of efficient cooperation between actors and partners particularly in higher education and scientific research sector.
The minister tackled the promising project of the Republic President concerning the digital school; this project will allow the Algerian school to be open to perspectives in order to improve education quality and to develop educational performance particularly the problem of school bag weight and the ways to make it lighter.
The General Director of scientific research and technological development intervened in this regard; he indicated that the scientific research sector is ready to take charge of applied research of quality besides the other research priorities given to this sensitive sector. He indicated that higher education and scientific research sector will be an active partner in planning and drawing strategies and supervising this educational research that should be embodied and valorized in the educational field. In this regard, he presented a strategic sectorial quintet action plan of 2022/2027. This plan embodies the elaboration of a white book of main solutions to problems faced by the Algerian education system. It is important to involve all actors (experts, inspectors, researchers…) in the field of education according to a new competence.
At the end, The minister thanked the Director of the National Institute of Research on Education for her great efforts for promoting the educational research and for the advancement of the institute to conduct applied research which contributes to the resolution of educational problems in the Algerian school.
The minister of education confirmed that the doors of the ministry are open to give the researchers of the National Institute of Research on Education all the necessary support and facilities to conduct researches of quality for the benefit of the sector. He also paid tribute to the role of higher education and scientific research and technological development as an active partner in supervising the National Institute of Research on Education, particularly in applied scientific research.
